What to Expect
We understand that walking into a new church can be a scary experience,
but knowing as much as you can about what to expect can help ease those nerves.
Attire- The law requires that you must wear clothing, and that is a law we totally agree with. However, don't worry about trying to find the perfect outfit to "fit" with the group. Wear whatever outfit will make you feel most comfortable.
Arriving- The main parking lot is off of Jay Street with a secondary parking lot off of Locke Street. If you park in the lot by Jay Street, the awning is the main entrance. If you park in the lot by Locke Street, the door there will lead you into the back of the building (don't worry, there is signage inside to point you the way to go.
Community- The Olive Garden slogan rings true here. "When you're here, you're family." No matter where you are at in your walk of life, you will be greeted and treated not as an outsider, but as part of the family.
Service- The style of our service is less of a production, and more of a family gathering feel. A point of emphasis during our worship service is worshipping together as one family. This means kids, teens and adults will be with each other during service. We set up our service differently in order that all ages are able to participate in the service instead of it just being kids in an adult type service. This is a whole family experience.
